1. What is the New Energy - New Consciousness of Humanity?
Humanity is moving to its next level of evolution, a faster vibrational frequency. Earth is a school for increasing a soul's conscious awareness and it continues to evolve and grow as do the beings living on it. This is a momentous time for both the planet and humanity.
2. There are so many changes happening in the world and in my life. Why is this and how do I deal with this and continue to take care of my responsibilities?
These changes are necessary for the next step of evolution for the planet and humanity. There is often a feeling of chaos when such a major change occurs. Being in each moment and surrendering to each experience is key to taking care of the responsibilities in our lives. Responsibility means an ability to respond.
3. Why is there so much pain and struggle in life?
Pain is the teacher in life. Its purpose is to create self-conscious awareness. As we stop or resist the lessons and opportunities pain brings, we stop our growth and expansion. Being willing to go through the pain, we can transform, leading to more harmony and joy in our lives.
4. How does your work fit with religion?
My work provides a broader view of our spiritual journey. It is not a religion. Religion is a way we choose to practice our spirituality. Sound, Color & Vibration, a system I teach from, is a Tibetan system that embraces all religions.
5. What is a soul reading and how can it help me in my life?
A soul reading is an opportunity to connect with our spirit / higher power / god within to have a dialogue and receive information. It is a helpful way to understand ones journey in this lifetime. One can ask questions about specific life circumstances and gain spiritual insights into their life issues. The view from the soul is very different than that of our personality / human view.
6. How do I hear my soul and know the difference between my ego / personality talking or my soul giving me information?
It is the quality of the communication that one must be aware of. Quieting the personality and stillness is helpful in opening the channels to the soul. There is a sense of knowing with soul information. The soul message is usually simple and clear.
7. I have worked a lot with my spirituality: readings, workshops and many practices. I feel I know the answers but I do not seem to be able to make the changes. Why?
Knowing is only the first part of the process. It is the experiencing of life with that knowledge that creates the change. This is often a longer process than we as humans would like. The life journey is a process. As we are willing to experience life and go through the process emotionally, mentally and physically transformation takes place. We change on different levels and often do not realize how much we have changed already. Change happens in subtle ways. We are often the last to observe change within ourselves. We often feel if we still have struggles we have not changed, not so. Resistance is part of the experiencing process.
In my capacity as a Nurse, Energy Medicine Practitioner as well as Reiki Master Teacher, I typically work with others in assisting them with their own personal healing. When we do this type of work with others we understand, and are trained that we also need to care for, and nurture ourselves. I love the analogy that is brought when you are on an airplane and the airline stewardess instructs...."you need to put your own oxygen on first or you won't be able to help anyone else". I have always understood and followed this philosophy and believe that Cheryl's work is invaluable in assisting us with our own "oxygenation", health, and wellbeing. Over the last 3 years, I have worked with Cheryl several times in the capacity of her "Soul Group Readings".
